CHURCH CALENDAR
Due to a technical error, the complete church calendar did not run Friday on page A6 of the Rome News-Tribune. Below are the calendar events that should have run:
Sardis Presbyterian Church, 7104 Alabama Highway, will celebrate homecoming on Sunday at 11 a.m. A covered dish lunch will follow service and the Sardis Preservation Society will be meeting. For more information call 706-232-1228.
Shorter Avenue Baptist Church, 1410 Shorter Ave., holds Bible study for all ages at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays with morning worship at 10:45 a.m. and evening worship at 6 p.m. Wednesday night services are at 6:30 p.m.

Springfield Baptist Church, 113 Smith St., will celebrate “Family, Friends and Homecoming” May 20 at 11 a.m. Pastor Bryant T. Steans will bring the message. Dinner will be served following. State Line Baptist Church, 8536 Black’s Bluff Road, Cave Spring, will have Decoration Day at State Line Cemetery throughout the day starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Thankful Missionary Baptist Church, 935 Spider Webb Drive, will have their Missionary Ministry All Circles’ Tea at 4 p.m. on May 20 in the church life center. Evangelist Deborah Harris, Thankful Missionary Baptist Church, Kennesaw, will be guest speaker. For more information call 706-295-2373.

Trinity United Methodist Church, 606 Turner McCall Blvd., holds Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Nursery is offered during the Sunday School hour and the 11 a.m. Sunday service. West Rome United Methodist Church, 1003 Shorter Ave., will have a yard sale and bake sale on Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon. Proceeds benefit the church food pantry.
