Shorter Avenue Baptist Church, 1410 Shorter Ave., holds Bible study for all ages at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays with morning worship at 10:45 a.m. and evening worship at 6 p.m. Wednesday night services are at 6:30 p.m.

Springfiel­d Baptist Church, 113 Smith St., will celebrate “Family, Friends and Homecoming” May 20 at 11 a.m. Pastor Bryant T. Steans will bring the message. Dinner will be served following. State Line Baptist Church, 8536 Black’s Bluff Road, Cave Spring, will have Decoration Day at State Line Cemetery throughout the day starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Trinity United Methodist Church, 606 Turner McCall Blvd., holds Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Nursery is offered during the Sunday School hour and the 11 a.m. Sunday service. West Rome United Methodist Church, 1003 Shorter Ave., will have a yard sale and bake sale on Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon. Proceeds benefit the church food pantry.
