BRIGHTER BIRTHDAYS: Brighter Birthdays re­ceived a dona­tion from Newby-Stahl Ad­vi­sory Group which will make an im­me­di­ate im­pact in their abil­ity to serve, War­den said. Brighter Birthdays is a lo­cally started and run non­profit or­ga­ni­za­tion pro­vid­ing schools with 2,500 back­packs con­tain­ing birth­day party items, gifts, toi­letries and school sup­plies. The schools then dis­trib­ute them to stu­dents in the com­mu­nity to help chil­dren cel­e­brate their birth­day.
