Reunion Committee will meet today at 1 p.m. at the Kelsey-Aycock-Burrell Center, 41 Washington Drive. Western Square Dance Promenader­s Club, 327 Woods Road, will host an Open House Extravagan­za at the Barn with free, introducto­ry, Westernsty­le square dance lessons on today, Jan. 19 and Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. each evening. The Berry College Chaplain’s Office will host Rebecca DeYoung, a philosophy professor at Calvin College, discussing vices and virtues in relation to spiritual formation at 7 p.m. on Monday in the Krannert Spruill Ballroom, Berry College, 2277 Martha Berry Highway. DeYoung’s focus of study is ethics, ancient and medieval philosophy and Thomas Aquinas’ work with ethics and the seven deadly sins. The lecture is free and open to the public. Catmull is president of Pixar & Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disneytoon Studios and has been honored with five Academy Awards including the Gordon E. Sawyer Award for his lifetime of technical contributi­ons and leadership in the field of computer graphics for the motion picture industry. Admission is free, but tickets are required and must be picked up in advance. Tickets will be available beginning Monday.
