Woman charged with meth possession

A Rome woman has been charged with felony possession of methamphetamine in the wake of an investigation that occurred in December.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Courtney Leigh Nails, 29, of 2609 Lake Ridge Circle, had the meth in her possession in a room at a location on Hillcrest Rise in Lindale on Dec. 15. The warrant for her arrest alleges that police found a glass smoking device beside her bed with suspected meth in a clear plastic bag in her purse.
