Floyd man charged with burglary

Floyd County police officers have charged a southern Floyd County resident with felony burglary following their investigation into an incident last summer at a location on Old Wax Road.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Joshua Shane Waddell, 41, of 6721 Black’s Bluff Road, Cave Spring, is accused of breaking into a camper on property in the 400 block of Old Wax Road June 12 to commit a theft. He also allegedly poured paint on all of the victim’s belongings inside the camper.
