Berry College, 2277 Martha Berry Highway, will host Pixar co-founder Ed Catmull speaking about creativity at 8 p.m. on Feb. 21. Catmull is president of Pixar & Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disneytoon Studios and has been honored with five Academy Awards including the Gordon E. Sawyer Award for his lifetime of technical contributi­ons and leadership in the field of computer graphics for the motion picture industry. A beginner’s line dance

class will be held at the Charles Parker Senior Center, 1325 Kingston Highway, on Tuesday from 6-7 p.m. This will be the first in a 10-12 week series of classes. Cost is $2 per person. All ages welcome. The Rome TEA Party will hold their Lunch Bunch meeting Tuesday from noon-1 p.m. at Fuddrucker­s, 595 Riverside Parkway. educationa­l classes about mental illness. Peer-to-Peer is a free, eight-week course for adults living with a mental illness who want to learn more about their illness and how to live a fruitful life. Lovejoy Baptist Church will host “A Promise to

Keep” banquet to benefit an academic scholarshi­p program which financiall­y assists and mentors honor students through high school and into college. This year’s event will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Lovejoy Baptist Church, 436 Branham Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m. Ticket prices are $45 for adults and $35 for students and seniors, 62 and over.
