The Coosa Valley chapter of Trout

Unlimited will host their annual Trout Expo on Feb. 16 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the RomeFloyd ECO Center, 363 Riverside Parkway. Casting instruction and a casting contest for children will be held. There will be door prizes, food and refreshments.

The 2019 Harbin Clinic Leprechauna-thon

will be held March 16 in downtown Rome. Registration is open now at rfpra. com/leprechaun-a-thon and costs $25 for the 5K and $20 for the walk. Children ages 12 and younger and groups of 10 or more can register for $20 by visiting the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation office, 1 Shorter Ave. To be guaranteed a race T-shirt register by March 3.
