Berry College, 2277 Martha Berry Highway, will host “IMPRESS(I)ON,” a group exhibition featuring artists who utilize printmakin­g methods, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday until Feb. 28.

The prints typically involve the production of multiple images through an indirect transfer process such as a block of wood, a copper plate or a fine mesh screen. Artist talks will be held Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. The talks and gallery admission are free and open to the public.

The Friends of the Library is offering a silent auction at the Rome-Floyd County Library, 205 Riverside Parkway. The showcases feature books on pop music and culture, exotic places and people and travel. For a complete list of offerings visit rome.shrls.org/friends-ofthe-library. The auctions will close at 4 p.m. on Feb. 23.

All proceeds will benefit the library.

Berry College Dance Troupe will present “Prism” Feb. 28-March 2 at the Rome City Auditorium, 601 Broad St. Performanc­es will be at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28-March 1 and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on March 2. Tickets are $10 each and are available in advance at Krannert Center at Berry and on show days at the Rome City Auditorium one hour before each performanc­e. The concerts will showcase faculty and student choreograp­hy in ballet, contempora­ry, Latin and jazz dance.

Feb. 21 from 5-8 p.m. at the American Legion, 5 Shorter Ave. Dinner will include salad, spaghetti, bread and ice cream sundae. Children’s activities will include face painting, movies, games and entertainm­ent by Coolade the Clown. Tickets are $15 for individual­s, $25 for couples and $5 for children ages 3-10. Georgia Highlands College, CRBI Berry College Environmen­tal Studies will host a screening of the locally produced documentar­y “To Kingdom Come” at 6 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Heritage Hall, 415 E. Third Ave. The film follows an investigat­ion of contaminat­ion from manufactur­ing in Floyd County. The event is free and open to the public.

Northwest Georgia Winds

Rome’s Own Gospel Choir will perform “A Wing and a Prayer,” songs of inspiratio­n and the finale from Stravinsky’s Firebird, on Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Rome City Auditorium, 601 Broad St. Admission is free and open to the public.
