Mr. Arthur C. “A.C.” Camp, age 92, of Rome, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at a local hospital.

Mr. Camp was born in Rome, Georgia on October 22, 1927, son of the late Robert Horace Camp and Chloe Devin Underwood Camp. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Camp, sons, Robert Camp, Michael Camp, Tommy Eugene Camp, sister, Mary Ellen Camp, and brother, William Camp. Prior to retirement, Mr. Camp was employed with Floyd County Public Works for 38 years, and he was honored to be employee of the year in 1991. He had previously worked for Fox Manufactur­ing as a supervisor for 31 years. Mr. Camp was a member of Agape Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Survivors include a brother, Kerney Camp; two daughters, Nancy Holder, Rome, and Donna Graham, Cartersvil­le; three sons, Danny Camp (Ann Marie), Bridgeport, Connecticu­t, Rickey Camp (Deneen), Calhoun, and Greg Camp (April), Rome; 17 grandchild­ren; 13 great grandchild­ren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020, at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with the Rev. Marvin Jackson, and the Rev. Frank 7RZH RI¿FLDWLQJ ,QWHUPHQW will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. 'L[VRQ +ROW]FODZ RI¿FLDWLQJ

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Thursday, January 16, 2020, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Pallbearer­s are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Friday at 1:30 pm and include; Dewayne Weeks, Danny Franks, Terry Owens, Shawn Prather, Ricky Camp and Max Thompson.

Holly Mae Dixon Kinsey, age 34, of Rome, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, at a Birmingham, Alabama hospital.

Holly was born in Rome, Georgia on July 4, 1985, daughter of Gregory Jack Dixon and Sherry Boozer Brooks. She was a member of West Rome Baptist Church. Prior to her illness, she worked for Harbin Clinic as a Phlebotomi­st. She was preceded in death by grandparen­ts, Jack & Evelyn Dixon.

Survivors include her husband, Christophe­r Bryan Kinsey, to whom she was married on February 12, 2005; a daughter Lexi Kinsey; her father, Gregory Jack Dixon, Rome; her mother, Sherry Brooks (Danny), Rome; a sister, Haley Abernathy (John), Rome; two nephews, Jackson & Jeffrey Abernathy; grandparen­ts, Van & Barbara Boozer; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at 1pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Scott Lambert RI¿FLDWLQJ ,QWHUPHQW ZLOO follow in Blue Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Saturday from 11am until 12:45pm.

Ms. Eleanor L. Reese, age 88, of Rome, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 13th 2020 at 5th avenue nursing facility. Ms. Reese was born in Rome, Georgia on March 15th 1931. Daughter of Moses Mevric Price Lindsey and Berta Lee Dearing. She was also preceded in death by her late husband Charles William Reese, and daughWHU $P\ 5HHVH 6WDQ¿HOG Ms. Reese was a graduate of Rome High School in 1948. She was employed for several years with Bellsouth telephone company and was also a volunteer with the American Red Cross. Ms. Reese was of the Christian faith and attended North Rome United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter Susan Reese Scavone (Addison, Illinois) and her three grandchild­ren Reese, Evan DQG &KDUOHV 6WDQ¿HOG DQG KLV wife Kaitlyn all of Rome.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17th of 2020 at Daniels Funeral Home of Rome, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm on Friday at Daniel’s with a graveside service following the visitation at East View Cemetery.
