a camouflage hoodie and green pants, pretended to attempt to pay, then ran out with two cartons of cigarettes, valued at $108.98, and left in a black Audi with a Georgia license plate. Shorthorn Road, Lindale, FCPD: Residents reported hardware missing from an out building and a generator moved.

Woods Road, FCPD: 200 ft. of pair cable was reported cut down from a utility pole, valued at $800.

3359 Martha Berry Highway, FCPD: A gumball machine was reported missing from the former Armuchee Village Self Storage business.

1605 N. Broad St., Dollar General, RPD: A manager reported someone stole 20 metal rotators, valued at $500 each, and several U-Boat carts valued at $300 each. The total of stolen items was estimated at $10,350. Chateau Drive, RPD: A vehicle was reported damaged and entered by damaging a tonneau cover, valued at $900. The truck bed was empty and nothing was reported missing.

2220 Shorter Ave., Taco Bell, RPD: An employee reported a counterfei­t $20 bill used to make a purchase. The bill was given to a Rome Police Department officer for evidence.

RPD: A woman reported she transferre­d two Ebay gift cards, in the amount of $200 each, to an individual she spoke with on the phone who claimed to be with the Social Security office.

825 Cartersvil­le Highway, Walmart, RPD: A woman reported her vehicle broken into and a stereo, valued at $100, along with a tote of clothes, valued at $250, and various dishes and pans, valued at $150 missing. Maple Road, RPD: A residence was reported entered and ransacked. A lawnmower, valued at $80, a weed eater, valued at $40, a tool cart, valued at $300, and a light bulb, valued at $4 were reported missing.

Saturday, Feb. 8

Shorter Ave., RPD: A truck was reported abandoned at a location without permission of the owner.

2510 Redmond Circle, Walmart, RPD: An employee reported a group of four individual­s went through the self checkout, paying for some items, but skipping several other items and then left the store.

Sunday, Feb. 9 Rockmart Road, FCPD: A storage unit was reported entered with a cut lock. There were some items reported missing.

Dodd Blvd., RPD: An unlocked vehicle was reported entered overnight with clothes, a cooler, a laundry basket and laundry detergent missing.

at Berry Square, RPD: A vehicle was reported entered by a broken right rear window, valued at $300. Missing were a handicappe­d lift, valued at $500; a gold necklace, valued at $1,500; a gold wedding band, valued at $500; and a gold ring, valued at $350. 1816 Dean Ave., Dollar General, RPD: An employee reported a male entered the store and took a pound of ground beef and left, even after being confronted.

435 Turner McCall Blvd., Publix, RPD: A counterfei­t $100 bill was reported used at the location and turned over to a Rome Police Department officer for evidence.

Dodd Blvd., RPD: Someone reported a wallet missing while shopping at the Dean Ave. Dollar General location. Blankenshi­p Place, RPD: A man reported a nail in the left rear tire of his vehicle and believed someone had been targeting him.

Monday, Feb. 10

Cedar Ave., RPD: A front window of a residence was reported broken overnight.

E. 9th St., RPD: A FedEx package, valued at $300, was reported stolen. Tuesday, Feb. 11

315 Riverside Parkway, Spartan Smoothie, RPD: An employee reported someone stole $350 from the business pretending to be a Floyd

County Sheriffs Office deputy conducting an investigat­ion. Wednesday, Feb. 12 Avenue B, RPD: Someone reported the front window of a residence shot out with a BB gun.

900 N. Broad St., Checkers, RPD: An employee reported a man attempted to pass a fake $20 bill. The bill was given to a Rome Police Department officer for evidence to be given to the Secret Service.

Myrtle St., RPD: Someone reported a mailbox destroyed.

Dodd Blvd., RPD: A resident reported the front door to his apartment kicked in.

Mitchell Circle, RPD: A woman reported someone attempted to use her debit card to buy food in Philadelph­ia. 931 N. 2nd Ave., DiPrimas Medical Supply, RPD: The owner advised that someone removed a window air conditioni­ng unit from the warehouse behind the business. Also missing were rounds of various ammunition, valued at $4,000, two chainsaws, valued at $625, six back braces, valued at $2,400, and misc. food items, valued at $300.

716 Martha Berry Highway, Journeys, RPD: An employee reported three females entered the store and possibly left with a pair of sandals valued at $99.
