Rome man charged with aggravated stalking

A Rome man was arrested at a residence on Brookwood Avenue after he reportedly violated a court order to stay away from a woman.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Phillip Lamar Austin, 59, knew the order was still in place when he came to her residence. He is charged with felony aggravated stalking and was being held without bond Monday.
