Man accused of choking woman
A Rome man faces an aggravated assault charge stemming from a Dec. 6 domestic altercation, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
James Christopher Jenkins, 37, is accused of choking a woman twice and taking a black and silver 9mm handgun from her.
Jenkins is charged with felony aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, along with a probation violation. He remained in jail on Wednesday without bond.
Calhoun woman charged with RV theft
A Calhoun woman is accused of stealing an Itasca Suncruiser RV valued at
over $10,000 on Oct. 4.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Dawn Marie Duncan, 51, is charged with felony burglary and theft by taking. She reportedly entered and stole the RV, which was being used as a residence.
She remained in jail Wednesday with her bond set at $7,900.
