Tennis under the Georgia sun: USTA Southern Sectional Championships
Adam Rogers, a Rome native, and Rockmart’s Jacob Summerville prepare for a serve from their North Carolina opponents Friday morning in the USTA Southern Sectional Championships at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. Summerville and Rogers are on a Men’s 4.5 team representing Georgia in these Sectional Championships. They will have to play and defeat times from across the Southeast if they want to advance to the national level.
