Silver Creek man accused of breaking into cars
A Silver Creek man was arrested outside his Wax Road residence on warrants accusing him of breaking into cars outside Cornerstone Concrete on Coosawattee Avenue.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
On March 25, Brandon Garner Mcdaniel, 36, entered vehicles inside a fenced-in part of the property. He also had a screwdriver in his pocket and meth.
Mcdaniel is charged with felony second degree burglary, meth possession, entering an automobile with intent to commit a theft and misdemeanor possession of tools for commission of a crime.

A passenger in a vehicle stopped for not having a valid tag faces several felony drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Kaitlyn Marquitta Phillips, 36, was arrested at East 18th and Crane streets Friday night. The driver gave consent to a search, which turned up a bag of methamphetamine and a syringe containing suspected heroin.
Phillips denied ownership of the drugs but was charged with the felonies possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and misdemeanor possession of drug-related objects.
Woman charged with intimidation of an
elder person
A Rome woman was charged with intimidation of an elder on accusations that she slapped a person over the age of 65 across the face.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Debra Carol Frazier, 56, of Silver Creek, was arrested at her residence just before 8 p.m. Friday night. Police said the victim had a bloody eye following the attack.
Frazier is also charged with misdemeanor battery.
Police: Woman had
syringes with suspected meth
A Floyd County resident was arrested a local convenience store and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance after police said they found syringes with suspected meth in her purse.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Shareen Little Tear Scoggins, 37, of Armuchee is alleged to have been carrying a couple of pre-loaded syringes with a white powdery substance, suspected to be methamphetamine. Doug Walker, associate
