Thomas Martin Shea passed away on May 9th, 2022. He was 68 years old. Tom was an unceasingl­y devoted and doting husband, a powerfully supportive and loving father, a thoughtful and fun-loving brother, a tender and attentive son, and a generous and caring friend to all who knew him. He was always the life of the party. Whether kicking his leg over KLV KHDG RQ WKH GDQFH ÀRRU or captivatin­g a dinner party with his stories and quick wit, he never shied away from a chance to make people smile. In true Tom fashion, he wrote his own obituary, which we felt captured his spirit perfectly and is shared below:

Well - apparently, I have passed away. I knew that would happen someday, I just didn’t expect it that particular day. At least I don’t have to move because I’ve been living in a slice of heaven since 1987.

,W DOO EHJDQ LQ 6SULQJ¿HOG Mass. On July 25,1953. A smallish boy with a full head of curly carrot red hair -the baby brother to Maureen & Barbara, and the sole son of Tom & Mary Shea. Records LQGLFDWH WKDW WKH ¿UVW EDNHUV¶ GR]HQ \HDUV LQ :HVW¿HOG were spent proving he was the victim of following behind Mother Moe (the nurse) and Li’l Barbie (the perpetuall­y cute one), -receiving daily warnings to “stay outta trouble,” because they “always will remember the fat kid with red hair”! According to Mary... The next 13 years were spent in Cincinnati, Ohio -where adolescenc­e wasn’t a great experience. Playing football and lifting weights helped turn fat to well, less fat... but the red hair still caused “issues”. Singing in a band made singing a lifelong joy -but shoulder length red hair generated
