Report: Task force arrests Rome man after meth sale
A 38-year-old was arrested by Rome Floyd Metro Task Force officers after reportedly selling meth to an informant, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Nicholus Byars is accused of selling an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine on Thursday around 7:50 p.m. at 507 Turner McCall Blvd. He is charged with felony sale of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute and possession of meth. He is also charged with felony use of a communication device to facilitate the drug sale. He remained in jail on Friday on a Department of Community Supervision hold.
2 FACING METH CHARGES
An Aragon woman and a Lindale man were arrested Thursday in two separate meth possession cases.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Crystal Dianne Purdy, 51, is charged with felony possession of meth at her home on Lloyd Drive in Aragon. She is also charged with misdemeanor possession of a drug-related object and misdemeanor possession of dangerous drugs. She was in jail without bond Friday on a probation hold.
Matthew Aaron Terry, 38, of Lindale was charged with possession of meth and driving on a suspended license. Terry was pulled over for a traffic stop and verbally consented to a search of his car, according to Floyd County PD reports. He was in jail without bond Friday on a probation hold.
POLICE: ROME DRIVER HAD THC OIL
A Rome man was arrested on felony possession of THC oil and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drugrelated objects Thursday.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Enrique Domingo, 29, was pulled over for a tag light violation on Alabama Highway near West Drive. Floyd police officers reported a smell of marijuana and found the drugs during a search of Domingo’s vehicle. Domingo was being held Friday on a $3,400 bond.
