Report: Rome man threw rock at child

A Rome man was arrested Saturday and charged with aggravated assault for an incident which occurred on Nov. 23, 2021, on Price Road where he is accused of throwing a rock at his daughter’s head, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Jonathan Clayton Price, 50, is also charged with cruelty to children. He was being held on $11,200 bond as of Monday.

ARMUCHEE MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

An Armuchee man was arrested Sunday night at a home on East Little Indian Trail and charged with aggravated assault after he attempted to choke a woman and pushed her into an appliance, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Billy Derrick Boston, 57 is also charged with family violence battery. He was being held on $11,200 bond Monday.

TASK FORCE ARRESTS MAN ON DRUG, GUN CHARGES

The Rome-floyd Metro Task Force arrested a Rome man Friday afternoon on Rudy Street and charged him with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Isaac Gage Reynolds, 21, is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of drugrelate­d objects. He was being held without bond Monday.

POLICE SAY MAN MADE THREATS, KICKED OFFICERS

A South Rome man was arrested Sunday night on Porter Street and charged with making terroristi­c threats on a recorded E-911 call saying he would punch a woman in her face, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Antarious Datrell Brown, 32, is also charged with disorderly conduct and five counts of felony obstructio­n of law

enforcemen­t after he kicked police during his arrest. He was being held on $11,200 bond as of Monday.

ROME WOMAN CHARGED WITH BURGLARY

A Rome woman was arrested Friday and charged with burglary stemming from an Oct. 9, 2022, incident on Lombardy Way when she entered a home and used the electricit­y and accommodat­ions without permission, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Terrie Annette Carnes, 30, is also charged with criminal trespass and theft of service. She was being held without bond Monday.

3 FACING METH CHARGES IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS

Police arrested three local residents on meth possession charges in separate incidents over the weekend.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Jimmy Lee Smith, 64, was arrested Friday evening on North Broad Street and charged with possession of meth. He was being held on $5,700 bond as of Monday.

Dwayne Chandler Hart, 56, of Silver Creek man was arrested Saturday morning on Shorter Avenue and charged with felony theft of a car.

Hart is also charged with felony possession of meth and misdemeano­r possession of marijuana and three counts of obstructin­g law enforcemen­t during his arrest. He was being held on $10,000 bond as of Monday.

Andrea Kay Pritchett, 29, was arrested Sunday afternoon on Turner Chapel Road and charged with possession of meth and drug-related objects. She was being held without bond Monday.
