The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit’s Farmington Hills Corps distributes food to families in need
The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit – Farmington Hills Corps distributed 1,000 food boxes to help feed families in need impacted by the COVID-19 crisis on Wednesday, according to a press release.
The following partners: Bank of America Charitable Foundation; United Way of Southeast Michigan; Clean Planet Foods – Jack & Annette Aronson and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) have contributed to The Salvation Army during the COVID-19 crisis.

Webinar for parents during the COVID-19 crisis
Academy of the Sacred Heart presents a webinar featuring Dr. Lisa Damour, “Managing Stress, Anxiety, and Parenting Under COVID-19” at 4:15 p.m. today. Damour explains the psychological science of how stress and anxiety operate, both under everyday conditions and at times of heightened concern and disruption, according to a press release. Olga’s Kitchen launches ‘Feed a Hero’ program
Olga’s Kitchen launched its Feed a Hero program to benefit frontline workers. The program provides a platform for donations on its mobile app or online at Order.Olgas.com. For every $10 contribution, Olga’s Kitchen will donate a boxed meal to a frontline worker fighting the pandemic. Olga’s Kitchen continues to observe limited contact ordering methods and remains open for curbside and delivery services.
