North Oakland YMCA closes

The North Oakland YMCA in Auburn Hills officially closed Tuesday, Oct. 6, citing financial losses.

According to a release from the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit, the facility had been open for 16 years.

Members of the North Oakland YMCA have been given memberships for the remainder of 2020 to any of seven other locations in Birmingham, Detroit, Downriver, Farmington, Macomb, Milford or Royal Oak.
