Russell Donald Rexford, devoted husband, loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, died suddenly on April 17, 2021, and unexpected­ly at the age of 30. Russell was born on August 6, 1990 to Anne (Kish) and Bruce Rexford in Pontiac, MI. He grew up in Waterford, MI and graduated from Our Lady of the Lakes High School where he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Saginaw Valley State University, where he met the love of his life, Rachel Cahill of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and they have been inseparabl­e ever since. ussell and Rachel moved to Florida and were married in 2018. Russell worked as the Operations and Wholesale Manager at Big Moods, Inc., a successful family start up company and was preparing to start law school at Florida State University in the fall. Russell was intelligen­t, thoughtful, and had a passion for Rachel, sports, and family. He was an avid Detroit Sports fan, especially the Tigers. He also loved rooting for his new home state teams of the Buccaneers and Lightning. Russell enjoyed spending time together with his wife and best friend, Rachel. Russell was preceded in death by his grandparen­ts Garnet (Fraser) Kish and Donald Kish, and Marie Esther (Nelson) Rexford and William Rexford. He is survived by his adoring wife Rachel, his parents Anne (Kish) and Bruce Rexford, along with his siblings Victoria (Stephen) Sachs, Andrew Rexford, Joseph Rexford, and and half-siblings Michael (Elainne) Rexford and Debie Rexford (John) Whitt, his aunt Sharon Bannister, in-laws Shelly and Mark Cahill, brother-in-law Mitchell Cahill, his nieces Molly, Karianne, Sarabeth, and Laurel, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. A blessing, viewing, and rosary will be held in Tallahasse­e, FL on April 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home on Riggins Rd. A funeral and celebratio­n of life will take place in Waterford, Michigan in the summer. The family
