Community House to host Bates Street Society Dinner
The Community House in Birmingham will host its sixth annual Bates Street Society Dinner, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30.
Individuals who have made significant charitable contributions to support the mission of The Community House will be inducted into the Bates Street Society at the event.
PNC is the presenting founding sponsor of this year’s dinner, Beaumont Health is the Title Sponsor and Huntington Bank is the Private VIP Champagne Reception Sponsor for 2022.
The event is hosted by The Community House, a non-profit resource and destination for personal, professional, recreational and philanthropic pursuits, and The Community House Foundation Board of Directors.
The Community House’s annual Pillars of Vibrancy honorees will also be recognized at the dinner for their work and contributions in the areas of education, culture, wellness, business and philanthropy, according to a press release from The Community House.

• Dave Bing, former Detroit mayor, retired NBA basketball player and founder of The Bing Group, an automotive supply corporation will be honored for Business & Culture

The event includes a seated three-course dinner, wine and cocktails, live entertainment from jazz saxophonist Jeff Ponders II, and the awards presentation with retired FOX 2 News anchor, Huel Perkins, as master of ceremonies.
