LUCIO, LUIS REYMUNDO, “LOUIE”

-

70, of Pontiac, Michigan, unexpectedly passed away, in his sleep, the evening of Saturday, October 29th 2022. Luis was born on July 26, 1952 to Maria Emma and the late Luis Barraza Lucio in Laredo, Texas. Luis is survived by his daughter Alaina (Ilkka) Kuisma and son Luis; his grandsons Samuel and Lukas; his mother Maria; his brother Jesus (Catherine), sisters Maria (late Alberto) and Leticia; many nieces and nephews, cousins, and beloved friends. Luis graduated from Pontiac Catholic High School in 1970. He was an avid softball player, lover of music, and a wonderful person to be around. Luis had a sense of humor that was as hilarious as it was occasionally appalling. He had the best guilty grin when he told a particularly off-the-wall or cheesy joke. In his heyday, Luis had multiple motorcycles which he loved to ride, played softball 7 nights a week, and always had time for a beer or two. Luis was a dedicated father to his two children and papa to his grandsons. He endlessly spoke of them with great pride and love to anyone who would listen. His children and grandchildren loved him beyond measure and, like so many, will dearly miss him. Visitation Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 3-8 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. Funeral Mass Monday, November 7, 2022 at 10 am at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Pontiac. Please leave a message or condolence on the online guestbook wintfuneralhome.com.
