The following list includes movies available at local theaters, and movies that are available to watch through online streaming and video on demand services including: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, Hulu, Vudu, FandangoNo­w, Apple TV+, YouTube, Disney+, HBO Max and more.

• “Armageddon Time” (R): A coming-of-age story about the strength of family and the generation­al pursuit of the American Dream. Starring Anthony Hopkins, Jeremy Strong, Anne Hathaway and Michael Banks Repeta. Available in theaters, Nov. 4.

• “The Banshees of Inisherin” (R): Set on a remote island off the coast of Ireland, two lifelong friends find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly ends their relationsh­ip. Starring Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan, Kerry Condon and Brendan Gleeson. Available in theaters, Nov. 4.

• “One Piece Film-Red” (PG13): Anime film about Uta, a beloved singer who is renowned for concealing her own identity when performing. Available in theaters, Nov. 4.

• “Prey for the Devil” (PG): Horror film about the Roman Catholic Church combatting a global rise in demonic possession­s by reopening schools to train priests to perform exorcisms. Although nuns are forbidden to perform this ritual, a professor trains Sister Ann (Jacqueline Byers) who finds herself in a battle for the soul of a young girl who’s possessed by the same demon that tormented her own mother years earlier. Also starring Colin Salmon and Christian Navarro.

• “Till” (PG-13): The true story of Mamie Till-Mobley, an American educator and activist who pursued justice after the lynching of her 14-year-old son, Emmett Till, in 1955. Starring Danielle Deadwyler, Jalyn Hall, Frankie Faison, Haley Bennett and Whoopi Goldberg.

• “Tár“(R): Set in the internatio­nal world of classical music, the film centers on Lydia Tár, widely considered one of the greatest living composer/conductors and first-ever female chief conductor of a major German orchestra. Starring

Cate Blanchett, Nina Hoss and Noémie Merlant.

“My Policeman” (R): Tom, a policeman in 1950s Britain, falls in love with a schoolteac­her and then begins a passionate same-sex affair with a museum curator, in spite of homosexual­ity being illegal. Starring Harry Styles, David Dawson, Emma Corrin and Linus Roache.

• “Ticket to Paradise” (PG13): George Clooney and Julia Roberts star as a divorced couple who team up and travel to Bali to stop their lovestruck daughter from making the same mistake they made 25 years ago.

• “Black Adam” (PG-13): In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed with the powers of the gods, and then imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000years have passed, and he is now free, ready to unleash his form of justice on the modern world. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Sarah Shahi, Noah Centineo and Pierce Brosnan.

• “Halloween Ends” (R): After 45 years of the Halloween horror franchise, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) faces off against Michael Myers in a final confrontat­ion in which only one of them will survive. Also starring Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Will Patton, Rohan Campbell and Kyle Richards. Also streaming on Peacock.

• “Lyle Lyle Crocodile” (PG): When a family moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and friends. But that changes when he discovers

Lyle, a singing crocodile (voice of Shawn Mendes) and the two become friends. Starring Javier Bardem, Constance Wu, Winslow Fegley.

• “Terrifier 2“(R): Sequel slasher film about Art the Clown who returns to Miles County to terrorize a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. Starring David Howard Thornton, Samantha Scaffidi, Lauren LaVera and Griffin Santopietr­o.

• “Amsterdam“(R): A crime epic about three close friends who find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history. Starring Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Alessandro Nivola, Chris Rock, Taylor Swift, with Rami Malek and Robert De Niro.

• “Bros” (R): Romantic comedy about two gay men struggling with relationsh­ip issues. Starring Billy Eichner, Luke Macfarlane and Ts Madison.

• “Smile” (R): After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) starts experienci­ng frightenin­g occurrence­s. Also starring Jessie T. Usher and Kyle Gallner with Rob Morgan.

• “The Greatest Beer Run Ever” (R): Based on a true story, Chickie (Zac Efron) decides to deliver American beer to support his friends fighting in Vietnam. His journey quickly changes Chickie’s life. Also starring Russell Crowe and Bill Murray. In select theaters and available on Apple TV+.

• “Don’t Worry Darling” (R): Psychologi­cal thriller about an experiment­al company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. Every resident’s needs are met by the company, but cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing something sinister beneath the surface. Starring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne and Chris Pine.

• “Confess, Fletch” (R): Comedy with Jon Hamm starring as the charming and troublesom­e Fletch. While searching for a stolen art collection, he becomes the prime suspect in a murder. To prove his innocence, he must sift through a long list of suspects. Also starring Annie Mumolo,

John Slattery, Ayden Mayeri, Lorenza Izzo, Kyle MacLachlan and Roy Wood Jr. Also available streaming.

• “The Woman King” (PG-13):

A historical drama about the Agojie, the all-female warrior unit who protected the West African kingdom of Dahomey in the 1800s. Starring Viola Davis, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Lashana Lynch and John Boyega.

• “Barbarian” (R): A young woman travels to Detroit for a job interview where she has booked a rental home. She arrives late at night and discovers that the house is double-booked, and a strange man is already staying there. Starring Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, Justin Long, Matthew Patrick Davis.

• “The Invitation” (PG-13): After the death of her mother, Evie (Nathalie Emmanuel) takes a DNA test and discovers a long-lost cousin she never knew she had. Invited by her newfound family to a lavish wedding in the English countrysid­e, Evie is at first seduced by the sexy aristocrat­ic host, yet soon uncovers twisted secrets about her family history. Also starring Thomas Doherty, Stephanie Corneliuss­en and Hugh Skinner.

• “DC League of Super-Pets” (PG): Warner Bros. animated film about Krypto the Super-Dog and best friend Superman who share the same superpower­s and fight crime in Metropolis together. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto gathers a shelter pack to help rescue the superheroe­s. Starring the voices of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart,

Keanu Reeves and Kate McKinnon.

• “Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris” (PG): Set in 1950s London, a widowed housekeepe­r follows her dream of owning a couture Christian Dior gown and travels to Paris. Starring Lesley Manville, Isabelle Huppert, Jason Isaacs, Anna Chancellor and Lambert Wilson.

• “Where the Crawdads Sing” (PG-13): Abandoned by her parents, Kya raised herself in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina. For years, rumors of the marsh girl haunted Barkley Cove, isolating her from the community. Based on the book by Delia Owens. Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Taylor John Smith, Harris Dickinson and David Strathairn.

• “Minions-The Rise of Gru” (PG): Animated adventure from the “Minions” franchise, set in the 1970s. Gru (Steve Carell), a fanboy of a supervilla­in supergroup known as the Vicious 6, hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. Also starring Taraji P. Henson, Michelle Yeoh, RZA, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Lucy Lawless, with Julie Andrews and Alan Arkin.

• “Top Gun-Maverick” (PG13): After more than 30years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, (Tom Cruise), is tasked with training a detachment of Top

Gun graduates for a dangerous mission. Maverick must confront the ghosts of his past and his deepest fears. He encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of Maverick’s late friend, Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose” from the original “Top Gun” movie. Also starring Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly and Jon Hamm. Also available streaming.

• “Enola Holmes 2” (PG-13): Second film in the series based on “The Enola Holmes Mysteries” novels, where Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) follows in the footsteps of her famous brother, Sherlock (Henry Cavill). Available on Netflix, Nov. 4.

• “The Minute You Wake Up Dead” (R): After a shady smalltown stockbroke­r begins dating a shy waitress, a shocking murder happens. Starring Cole Hauser, Jaimie Alexander and Morgan Freeman. Available streaming, Nov. 4.

• “All Quiet on the Western Front” (R): A film about a young German soldier and his comrades on the Western Front of World War I as they experience how the initial euphoria of war turns into desperatio­n and fear as they fight for their lives, and each other. Based on the bestseller of the same name. Starring Daniel Brühl, Albrecht Schuch and Sebastian Hülk. Available on Netflix.

• “The Good Nurse” (R): Amy, a nurse and single mother is struggling with a life-threatenin­g heart condition and the demanding night shifts at the ICU. When Charlie, a thoughtful and empathetic fellow nurse, starts at her unit, the two become friends.

But then a series of mysterious patient deaths sets off an investigat­ion that points to Charlie. Starring Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne and Nnamdi Asomugha. Available on Netflix.

• “Wendell & Wild” (PG-13): Animated tale about scheming demon brothers Wendell who enlist the aid of a tough teen to summon them to the Land of the Living. Starring voices of Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key, Lyric Ross, Tamara Smart and Angela Bassett. Available on Netflix.

• “Raymond & Ray”: When half brothers Raymond and Ray reunite after their estranged father dies, they discover that his final wish was for them to dig his grave. Starring Ethan Hawke, Ewan McGregor and Maribel Verdú. Available on Apple TV+.

• “The Curse of Bridge Hollow”: A father and his teenage daughter team up to save their town after an ancient spirit causes Halloween decoration­s to come to life and wreak havoc. Starring Marlon Wayans, Priah Ferguson and Kelly Rowland. Available on Netflix.

• “Hocus Pocus 2” (PG):

Sequel to the Halloween classic which brings back the wicked Sanderson sisters for more comedic mayhem. Starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. Available on Disney+.

• “Jeepers Creepers Reborn” (R): Fourth film in the “Jeepers Creepers” franchise. Starring Sydney Craven, Jarreau Benjamin, Timo Vuorensola and Imran Adams.

• “Thor-Love and Thunder” (PG-13): Marvel Studios’ film where Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is on a journey to find inner peace. But his retirement is interrupte­d by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the killer, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman).

• “The Good House” (R): A New England realtor stirs up long-buried emotions and family secrets when she rekindles a romance with her old high school flame. Starring Sigourney Weaver, Kevin Kline, Morena Baccarin and Beverly D’Angelo.

• “Pearl” (R): Horror film prequel following Mia Goth’s character Pearl from “X”, directed by Ti West, and co-written by West and Goth. Also starring David Corenswet, Tandi Wright and Matthew Sunderland.

• “Dragon Ball Super-Super Hero” (PG-13): New film in the Dragon Ball anime series. The Red Ribbon Army was once destroTOP-L-Movies-LIST0930ye­d by Son Goku. Individual­s who carry on its spirit have created the ultimate androids: Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.

• “Bullet Train” (R): Five assassins on a fast moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka discover their missions are connected but have conflictin­g goals. Starring Brad Pitt, Bad Bunny, Sandra Bullock and Joey King.

• “Vengeance” (R): Dark comic thriller starring and directed by B.J. Novak, about a journalist and podcaster who travels from New York City to West Texas to investigat­e the death of a woman whom he hooked up with. Also starring Issa Rae and Ashton Kutcher.

• “Orphan: First Kill” (R):

After escaping from a psychiatri­c facility in Estonia, Esther travels to America by impersonat­ing the missing daughter of a wealthy family. Prequel to “Orphan”, starring Isabelle Fuhrman, Julia Stiles and Matthew Finlan.

• “Elvis” (PG-13): Biopic film about the life and music of

Elvis Presley (Austin Butler), focusing on his complicate­d relationsh­ip with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), spanning over 20 years. Also starring Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla Presley.

• “Entergalac­tic”: Adult animated film about a young artist named Jabari (musician Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi) who moves into his dream apartment in

New York and falls for his new neighbor, photograph­er it-girl, Meadow (Jessica Williams). Available on Netflix.

• “God’s Country” (R): A college professor confronts two hunters trespassin­g on her property in the mountains. The film is based on the short story “Winter Light” by James Lee Burke. Starring Thandiwe Newton, Jefferson White, Tanaya Beatty and Jeremy Bobb.
