Vehicles vandalized at Beaumont Hospital

Police say they are unsure if two vehicles vandalized at Beaumont Hospital on Monday were failed attempts to find valuables to steal.

Someone smashed out a passenger’s window on a doctor’s Cadillac Escalade after she was called and got to the hospital at 12:30 a.m.to deliver a baby.

A man who also works at the hospital returned to his Jeep Grand Cherokee about 8 p.m. and found it damaged.

Police said someone tried to pry and break a passenger window on the Jeep and failed.
