Vandal targets outdoor string lights at two houses in same block

Someone apparently doesn’t like outdoor string lights in the 800 block of Wyandotte. A resident told police that someone cut the cord on his patio string lights Oct. 27 and he reported it Nov. 5 after he found out the same thing happened to a woman who also lives on the same street. The woman found the cord cut on her $100 lights when she returned from a trip out of town Nov. 4.

Both of them told police they have no idea who might have targeted them because the neighbors are friendly.
