Sentencing was handed down Tuesday to the killer of a South Lyon teen and his father who were gunned down in December 2020 during a purported robbery of marijuana.

At a morning sentencing hearing, Oakland County Circuit Judge Cheryl Mat- thews ordered Fadi Jesus Zeineh, 21, to spend 28 to 50 years in prison for the armed robbery and deaths of Dylan Stamper, 17, and Kevin Stamper, 43. He also received an additional 2-year sentence for possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Zeineh pleaded guilty to the charges last month, less than a week before his trial was to start. He had initially been charged with first-degree murder but those charges were dismissed as the seconddegree murder charges were added.

The Stampers were shot at their home in the 300 block of Liberty Street near Reynolds Sweet Parkway, where it’s alleged a marijuana deal had been set up, but Zeineh planned to steal it instead. After a struggle, Dylan and his dad were shot. Dylan died at the scene but his father clung to life for nearly four weeks at an area hospital before dying from his injuries.

Another man connected to the incident, Anthony Marshall Porter, 28, is charged with three counts each of armed robbery and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony. His trial is scheduled for Dec. 8 before the same judge.
