Police report 2 more teen runaways, third since Monday

Southfield police are requesting assistance from the public in locating two teens who reportedly left their homes voluntaril­y on Tuesday.

One of the runaways is Curtis Blaydes, 17, who police describe as a black male with a medium complexion, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximat­ely 140 pounds. He was wearing an orange sweatshirt and blue jeans, police said.

In the other case, Amyrah Williams, 15, is described as a black female with a medium complexion, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing 145 pounds. She has waist-length, braided hair. She was wearing a black Fila jacket, black and red-checkered pajama pants and black Crocs, police said.

The two cases follow another runaway case reported by Southfield police this week. On Monday, the Southfield Police Department issued a news release asking for the public’s help in locating 14-yearold Cassidy Cross. She’s described as black with a medium complexion, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing approximat­ely 130 pounds, according to the Southfield Police Department. She has shoulder-length, straight brown hair and brown eyes.

Police have not indicated that any of the cases are related.
