THE ALFOND INN

Take a swing this sum­mer at the PGA Na­tional Re­sort & Spa. It’s home to five golf cour­ses, in­clud­ing one de­signed by the late Arnold Palmer. The Cham­pion course, which was re­designed by Jack Nick­laus in 2014 and hosts the PGA Tour’s Honda Clas­sic each spring, is con­sid­ered one of the most chal­leng­ing in the state.
