Wil­liam R. “Bill” Cox is one of Florida’s best land­scape and wildlife pho­tog­ra­phers. This 40year pro­fes­sional is sched­ul­ing teach­ing work­shops to share and in­struct on the finer points of shoot­ing cityscapes, wildlife, peo­ple and land­scapes us­ing a dig­i­tal sin­gle-lens re­flex, or DSLR, cam­era. In­struc­tion will cover cam­era me­chan­ics and tech­ni­cal choices to con­trol im­age out­comes (amaz­ing vs. av­er­age). You will ex­pe­ri­ence an ex­pert’s guid­ance on lenses, flash, light, ex­po­sure, shutter speeds, f-stops, ISO set­tings, tripods and much more. The ad­van­tages and dis­ad­van­tages of shoot­ing im­ages in RAW or JPEG will also be dis­cussed. These work­shops will be held Sept. 27 and Oct. 25 be­gin­ning at 10 a.m. at the TOTI Me­dia, Inc. of­fice at 2491 Palm Ridge Road, Sanibel (Speed­way com­plex). En­roll­ment is limited to four (4) stu­dents per work­shop. Cost is $180 per per­son, which in­cludes one (1) hour of lec­ture and two (2) hours of wildlife pho­tog­ra­phy on Sanibel.
