SEA ANCHOR

Saltwater Sportsman - - Bluewater Conversion -

A sea anchor, used to slow a boat when drifting, as a safety device keeps the bow of a boat facing into rough seas. Funnel-shaped drift anchors are fine for smaller craft, but large center-consoles should opt for a true sea anchor, a parachute-style device. I carry a 15-foot Para-tech sea anchor, packed away in my console at all times.
