The San An­to­nio Ram­page suf­fered their ninth reg­u­la­tion loss — the most in the AHL this sea­son — fall­ing 3-1 to the San Jose Bar­racuda on Fri­day at the SAP Cen­ter at San Jose. San An­to­nio is 2-9-0-0 on the sea­son, rank­ing last in the AHL stand­ings with four points. San Jose is 8-1-0-1 for 17 points. The Bar­racuda tal­lied goals by Lukas Radil at 1:03 of the sec­ond pe­riod, Evan Weinger at 8:25 of the sec­ond pe­riod and Jef­frey Tru­chonViel at 2:57 of the third pe­riod.

The Ram­page net­ted their lone goal when Bryan Flynn, play­ing in his 400th pro­fes­sional game, forced a turnover in the neu­tral zone and sent the puck to Sammy Blais, who scored on a break­away at 15:23 of the third pe­riod. San Jose goalie Josef Kore­nar stopped 22 of 23 shots, while San An­to­nio’s Ville Husso made 30 saves in 33 chances.

San An­to­nio’s Cal­i­for­nia road trip con­tin­ued with a match against the Stock­ton Heat at 8 p.m. Satur­day and a clash with the Bak­ers­field Con­dors at 7 p.m. Sun­day.
