Food donations sought to aid relief effort

-

Catholic Charities is experiencing an increased distribution of food to families affected by the ongoing pandemic. The organization distributes thousands of pounds of food to families in need daily. It seeks donations of canned foods and dry goods.

There are a few ways to help Catholic Charities with its food relief efforts.

Shop for the mostneeded food products, including peanut butter, tuna, canned vegetables and cereal, and drop them off at St. Stephen’s CARE Center, 2127 S. Zarzamora St., Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Donations also can be made online and delivered to Catholic Charities. Monetary donations and volunteers to help sort and distribute donations also are needed.

For more information, contact Catholic Charities at 210-222-1294.
