Fight the winter blues by bringing the outdoors in

tones will also be popular to contribute warmth to homes in 2021, and several paint companies have selected calming shades of blue as their 2021 color of the year, reflecting natural elements such as water and the sky.

Greater San Antonio Builders Association (GSABA) member, Sherwin Williams, selected Urbane Bronze as their color of the year. Urbane Bronze is a warm nature-inspired brownishgray shade that is versatile and easyto-live with in a range of materials. Calming the worlds existential anxiety is a tall order for a shade of paint but you can find it by calling the San Antonio Sherwin Williams at 210-8573989-they even have curbside pickup!

great burgers and milkshakes with room for little ones to run around.

“[And] if you’re looking to go somewhere for drinks, Paramour is pretty tough to beat,” Macy said.

Also, he noted, the San Antonio Museum of Art is nearby as well as all the appealing attractions along Broadway. “Like I said, when you live in Tobin Hill, you’re pretty close to a lot of amazing San Antonio attractions,” he said.

Recently, he said the area has seen a significant increase in buyers with dual income but no kids yet.

“I’m sure everyone has different motivations for living in the neighborhood,” he said, “but that is a strong trend we’ve witnessed in a lot of the downtown neighborhoods.”

Macy noted that thinks couples who haven’t yet started a family yet may be more likely to choose to tackle the projects that some of the gorgeous older homes in Tobin Hill can present.

But from an investment standpoint, Tobin Hill is great place to buy, Macy said.

“People are buying homes and land in areas based on possible future development,” he said. “[But] the value in Tobin Hill is that so many of the large developments are already done.”

From the Pearl, an expertly executed mixed-use community, to the San Antonio Zoo and the Tobin Center, there’s much to see and do in the area that’s already complete.

So, although Tobin Hill is a pricier investment bet, it’s a safer bet.

“The downtown San Antonio real estate market has some unique opportunities [coming in the future], but Tobin Hill has it all – and it has it right now,” Macy said.

And of course, one can never brag enough about the neighborhood’s walkability.

“I mention walkable because there are very few areas in San Antonio that are truly walkable,” Macy said.

Macy did one of the first transactions of his career in Tobin Hill five years ago, and said he’s endlessly impressed by how the area continues to evolve and grow.

“I also love how diverse Tobin Hill is, not just in the different people, but the range of different things you can find in the neighborhood,” he said.
