Wolff shows the truth

Kudos to County Judge Nelson Wolff for citing Gov. Greg Abbott’s claims of abuse at a San Antonio shelter as false.

Although a federal investigation found nothing, the governor is not backing down. Why should the master political strategist of diversionary schemes ever do anything differently? It aligns with his style, which closely resembles the irresponsible governing of our last president.

Why accept any blame for your wrongdoings when shifting it to others — whomever they may be — is so much easier and creates distraction?

Folks, be patient, bear the burden, and send Abbott, Lt.

Gov. Dan Patrick and Attorney General Ken Paxton packing next November. Texans deserve much better.
