OT Cosmi, DE Ossai and DT Graham drafted

AUSTIN – Offensive tackle Sam Cosmi and defensive end Joseph Ossai were drafted in the second and third rounds, respectively, Friday in the NFL draft.

Cosmi, selected 51st overall by the Washington Football Team, is only the fifth Texas lineman picked in the first two rounds since 2000.

Ossai, drafted 69th by the Cincinnati Bengals, is the highest defensive player picked since Malcom Brown went 32nd in 2015.

The Atlanta Falcons drafted defensive tackle Ta’Quon Graham with the 148th pick in the fifth round. The 6-foot-3, 292-pounder started 22 consecutive games over the past two seasons and recorded 54 tackles. He was named honorable-mention All-Big 12.
