Musica Sacra holding auditions this month
San Antonio’s premier independent sacred-music choir, Musica Sacra San Antonio, is holding auditions for singers this month for its 2021-22 concert season.
Musica Sacra was started in 2010 and has performed at concerts and led special services at Our Lady of the Atonement Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake University and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Previous performances have included a number of motets/cantatas by Bach and other notable choral music masters. Sight reading skills are an asset, as well as a flexible choral singing voice.
