When and where Texans can get the COVID-19 vaccine

Supplies are increasing and more locations offer walk-in access to COVID-19 inoculatio­ns. We update this guide daily to give you what you need to know:

City: People can get vaccinated without appointmen­ts from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at the Alamodome drivethru site. Metro Health now offers the Pfizer vaccines to children as young as 12 — consent from a parent or legal guardian is required. The city and Healthcare Access San Antonio also have a vaccine wait list open to all Texas adults (priority goes to those 65 and older). Register online in English at sanantonio.gov/waitlist or in Spanish at sanantonio.gov/listadeesp­era. Or call 311 and select option 8 or call 210-207-6000 to speak with an operator. CVS: Walk-in access now available at most area CVS pharmacies. Same-day scheduling, including appointmen­ts as soon as in one hour, also is available at CVS.com. Those without online access can call CVS customer service at 800746-7287.

H-E-B: Check availabili­ty and book appointmen­ts at vaccine .heb.com. All H-E-B pharmacies welcome walk-ins without appointmen­ts from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Children as young as 12 may receive the Pfizer vaccine.

San Antonio Military Health System: Brooke Army Medical Center offers Pfizer vaccines every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a walk-in basis for all Tricare beneficiar­ies ages 16 and up. Sameday vaccine appointmen­ts at BAMC also are available — check www.tricareonl­ine.com for openings or call 210-916-9900 or 800-443-2262, option 8, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Teens under 18 must be accompanie­d by their legal guardians. Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center also is letting all Tricare beneficiar­ies 16 and older make appointmen­ts; civilians who aren’t Tricare beneficiar­ies can walk in from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesdays.

South Texas Veterans Health Care System: Veterans, their spouses, their caregivers and Department of Veterans Affairs employees may show up without appointmen­ts at the Wonderland of the Americas mall to get vaccinated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays.

University Health: Appointmen­ts available at wecandoit sa.com for vaccine clinics at Wonderland of the Americas mall and St. Philip’s College. Children as young as 12 may now get the Pfizer vaccine at the Wonderland mall clinic’s upper level from 8 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. All ages can walk in from 11 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. weekdays at the lower level. Walk-ins ages 12 and up also can get the Pfizer vaccine at the Robert B. Green campus, 903 W. Martin St., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays only. An adult family member or guardian must accompany those under 18. The St. Philip’s operation will offer single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines for those 18 and older Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 210-644-1960 for informatio­n.

UT Health San Antonio: Now offering the Pfizer vaccine to those 12 and older. Schedule vaccines at www.UTHealthCa­re.org/COVID.

Walmart, Sam’s Club: Walkins accepted at all Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies in Texas, as supply allows. Appointmen­ts can be scheduled online at walmart.com/COVIDvacci­ne and at samsclub.com/covid. The pharmacies are offering the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. People don’t have to be a Sam’s Club member to get vaccinated.

WellMed: Winding down its community vaccinatio­n service. Reservatio­ns are still available at signup.com/go/AspRTdN through June 4 for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the Cisneros Senior Community Activity Center, 517 SW Military. Walk-ins allowed at the Cisneros center from 1 to 4 p.m. weekdays based on availabili­ty. Must be 18 to book appointmen­ts, also available by phone at 833-968-1745 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Baptist Health System: Offering the Pfizer vaccine to those 12 and up through June 5. Appointmen­ts available at baptisthea­lth system.com/our-response-tocovid-19/covid-19-vaccinereg­istration. Those younger than 18 must have parental consent.

CentroMed: Go to www. centromeds­a.com to check for availabili­ty and schedule an appointmen­t. You can also call 210334-3820.

Comal County: Final mass vaccinatio­n clinic will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday with a final second-dose clinic on June 15, both at the New Braunfels Convention Center. The Comal County Public Health Department will continue providing vaccines; call 830-221-1150.

Walgreens: Offers same-day vaccine appointmen­ts, go to walgreens.com/schedule vaccine or call 800-Walgreens. Some locations offer walk-in access.
