Rockport: A coastal beauty full of surprises
The beautiful coastal city of Rockport, with its population of more than 10,000, is a popular destination spot for tourists – and a popular place to live for home buyers.

According to Tullis, February through August is the busiest time of year for those looking to buy homes and property in Rockport, and demand is skyrocketing.
“Buyers are looking for either permanent homes or vacation homes,” she said. “The market has hit its high since COVID and we are still busy selling and listing homes.”
She added that as soon as Rockport property goes on the market, it’s snatched up quickly.
“If it’s priced right and in a good location, there are usually multiple offers,” Tullis said.

The average price of homes is between $300,000 and $800,000.
“However, just this year alone, we have sold 18 homes between $1 and $3 million,” Tullis added, “which are the highest-priced homes we have sold in years.”
It’s because of this increased demand for Rockport homes that buyers should act quickly when they come on the market.
