Police: Robbery caught on Zoom

-

A woman was on a Zoom meeting in her bedroom when a man allegedly put a gun to her head and proceeded to rob her, police said.

Three people have been arrested — two men and a 15-year-old girl.

The woman was online about 3 p.m. Friday when other participants in the meeting saw a man come up and put a gun to her head and demand property, spurring them to call her boss, police said.

According to police, Adrian Guillen, 19, and the teen had forced their way into the woman’s North Side apartment in the 5500 block of Pecan Springs Road. After threatening her, police said the two ransacked her place. They left in a white Honda Accord driven by Jaime

Trevino, 39, police said.

Officers said they tracked the trio to a West Side home in the 4300 block of Fortuna Street. There, officers reported seeing several men breaking into a safe. Police said the trio transferred the contents into the car and drove to the OYO Motel near Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, about 10 minutes away. Officers arrived on the scene and took them into custody.

Police later identified Guillen as having an active capital murder warrant out from Bandera County.

Guillen has been charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, and theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000. He is currently being held in the Bexar County Jail on bail of $1.15 million.

Trevino also has been charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property valued between $2,500 to $30,000. He is being held in the Bexar County Jail on bail of $175,000.
