1. Concert
Regional Mexican star Alejandro Fernández returns to S.A. on his “Made In Mexico” tour. Fans likely will hear songs like “Te Olvidé” and “Decepciones” from his chart-topping album “Hecho En México,” as well as older hits such as “Sé Que Te Duele.”

2. Movie
Michael Myers continues his four-decade rampage in “Halloween Kills,” which reunited Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) with some fellow survivors from past films. Can the masked madman be killed? Maybe, but not yet — “Halloween Ends” is slated for 2022.
Opens Friday in theaters and on Peacock.
3. Stage
Playwright Scott McDowell has cooked up a sequel to his hugely entertaining “Tricksters,” which focused on gods of trickery and mischief. They return in “Tricksters: The Zeus Heist,” in which they respond in typically dramatic fashion when one of their own is killed by Zeus.

4. Classical music
The “Postcards from the Border” series by photographer Joel Salcido and writer Oscar Cásares will take on additional dimensions thanks to the Agarita chamber ensemble. The musicians will play a program inspired by the work while the images are presented and Cásares narrates.

5. Art
The San Antonio Museum of Art is marking its 40th anniversary with “40 Years, 40 Stories: Treasures and New Discoveries in SAMA’s Collections.” The exhibit spotlights works that have not been shown recently, including a recently restored portrait of Mary, Lady Arundell of Wardour by Sir Joshua Reynolds and “Peach Blossom Spring,” a Chinese hand scroll dating to the late 16th or early 17th century.
