1. Art

“Altares y Ofrendas,” a Día de los Muertos exhibition, features altars created by San Antonio artists and community members. The opening reception also will feature an artisan market, Avenida de los Muertos.

2. Books

Everybody’s breaking the code of silence in “Woke Up This Morning” (William Morrow, $30), a history of the landmark HBO series “The Sopranos.” The book, written by two of the series’ stars, Michael Imperioli (Christophe­r Moltisanti) and Steve Schirripa (Bobby Baccalieri), is full of behind-the-scenes tales.

On sale Tuesday.

3. Comedy

Comedian Hasan Minhaj brings his new one-man show, “The King’s Jester,” to town. He has won Peabody Awards for his Netflix series “Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj” and his comedy special “Homecoming King.”

4. Concert

The New Orleans-based Soul Rebels are bringing their distinctiv­e sound to town. The ensemble blends funk, soul, hip hop, jazz and rock inside a brass band context. They strive to create a party atmosphere in their live shows.

5. Movie

“Eternals” is being billed as a different kind of Marvel Comics movie. That starts with the director, Chloé Zhao, known for working with nonprofess­ional actors on films such as the Oscar-winning “Nomadland.” Here she’s directing A-list stars Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek in a tale of immortal beings who live among us.

Opens Friday in theaters.

6. Streaming

Tom Hanks stars in “Finch,” an offbeat science-fiction film about one of the few survivors of a global cataclysm. Finch lives with his dog and the robot he’s built to look after the pup in the case of his death. The director is Miguel Sapochnik, who oversaw some of “Game of Thrones’ ” greatest battles.

Debuts Friday on Apple TV+.
