Barbara Stanwyck Christmas Romantic Comedy Classics
TCM, beginning at 3:15 p.m. In the 1940s, legendary actress Barbara Stanwyck headlined two classic romantic comedies with a Christmastime backdrop. First up is “Christmas in Connecticut.” This 1945 holiday farce stars Stanwyck as a food writer who has faking it. She then must host a Christmas dinner for a returning war hero (Dennis Morgan). Next is “Remember the Night” (1940), in which Stanwyck costars with Fred MacMurray. Here, Stanwyck plays a woman on trial for shoplifting, and MacMurray is the assistant D.A.
White House Christmas 2021
HGTV, 5 p.m.
HGTV will go behind the scenes at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. to showcase the home’s holiday transformation in its popular annual special “White House Christmas.”
America’s Funniest Home Videos
ABC, 6 p.m.
In this holiday episode, see kids who have funny reactions to gifts, kids who don’t have the “Christmas spirit” and a child who tries not to tell Dad what Mom got him for Christmas.

Hallmark Channel, 7 p.m. Meg Swift (Ashley Williams) comes to Salt Lake City from her hometown in Hazelwood to see her sister Jennifer (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), who runs a restaurant in town. Meg offers to help Jennifer’s staff prepare for a competition. As Meg works alongside Joe (Keith Robinson), the restaurant’s manager, the two find their differences make them a great team.
People Presents: Blending Christmas

The Hacienda de la Sierra is Emma’s (Haylie Duff ) favorite place to spend the holidays and her boyfriend Liam (Aaron O’Connell) has been planning to propose to her there, surrounded by their families. But soon the
families are bickering over every detail. The stress takes a toll on Emma and Liam, who start questioning their relationship. Now, just days before Christmas, the two families realize that they’re going to have to work together to reunite Emma and Liam.
Secrets of the Celtic Grave

This two-hour special tells the story of the discovery of a 2,000year-old Celtic grave that was found by metal detectorist Mike Smith in Wales in 2018. The special follows the archaeological dig from start to finish as the site revealed its secrets, with evidence pointing to a potentially great warrior buried there.
