2. Concert
Chicago has been making music since 1967, a prolific career that landed the band in the top 10 of Billboard’s “Greatest of All Time” list. Its long list of hits stretches from the ’70s to the MTV era, with highlights such as “Saturday in the Park,” “25 or 6 to 4,” “If
You Leave Me Now” and “Hard Habit to Break.”

3. Book
Dolly Parton teamed up with bestselling author James Patterson on “Run, Rose, Run” (Little, Brown and Co., $30), a novel about a rising country music star who has a bright future, if she only she could escape her past. Parton has a new album, also called “Run, Rose, Run,” to accompany the book. Book on sale Tuesday; album available now.
4. Stage
Classic Theatre’s first show of 2022 is “A Doll’s House: Part 2,” Lucas Hnath’s 2017 sequel to Henrik Ibsen’s “A Doll’s House.” Classic staged the original to devastating effect five years ago. In “Part 2,” the central character returns years later to the family she left at the end of the first play and faces the consequences of that decision. Masks are required. Patrons are invited to bring blankets or chairs to sit on; chairs and masks will be available for purchase.
5. Art
The second half of “Interior Realities,” Contemporary Art Month’s perennial exhibition, opens this week at Sala Diaz. The first half is open at the Southwest School of Art. In total for both parts of the show, curator Lauren Cross selected works by 17 San Antonio-based artists.
Reception 6-9 p.m. Thursday,
Sala Diaz, 517 Stieren. Free, contemporaryartmonth.org.
