GMC rolls out restyled Sierra, Terrain and variants for 2022
General Motors’ GMC brand offers a lineup of stylish, rugged and versatile pickup trucks and a comprehensive selection of SUVs and crossovers for model year 2022, including the versatile Sierra trucks and the Texas-built Yukon large sport utilities.
The Sierra 1500 light-duty pickup line has been revamped and updated for 2022, and the first-ever Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate and AT4X luxury models joins the lineup.
Also coming later this year are the new GMC Hummer electric pickup and SUV models, reviving a brand name General Motors dropped 13 years ago – this time only as battery-electric vehicles.
GMC Yukon/Yukon XL
The Yukon lineup is headlined by the upscale Denali version and the first-ever Yukon AT4, which gives off-road aficionados a premium ride into the wilderness.

GMC Acadia
The GMC Acadia midsize crossover got some changes last year, but returns basically unchanged for 2022. Versions include the SLE, SLT, 2020’s all-new AT4 premium off-road trim, and GMC’s flagship Denali, with available seating arrangements for five, six or seven passengers, depending on the model.
GMC Terrain
The five-passenger GMC Terrain compact crossover gets some updates for 2022, and a new model -- the first-ever Terrain AT4.

GMC Canyon
GMC’s midsize Canyon pickup returned to the lineup for 2015 after a three-year hiatus. A 2.8-liter Duramax diesel engine has been added to the options list, with 181 horsepower and 369 footpounds of torque.
New for 2021 was the AT4 premium off-road version, which includes four-wheel drive, off-road tries, automatic-locking differential, transfer-case skid plate, and an off-road suspension.
