1. Concert
Jesse & Joy, a brother-andsister pop duo from Mexico City, won the Latin Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 2012 for their song “¡Corre!” Their current tour promotes their upcoming studio album, “Cliches.”

2. Comedy
This Austin-based stand-up comic Jen Fulwiler is the mother of six, which she absolutely mines for laughs. Her act also touches on her conversion to Catholicism and the bad habits she enjoys too much to kick. Her special “The Naughty Corner” is available on Amazon Prime.

3. Movie
“Morbius” rises from the darker realms of the Spider-Man universe to star in his own feature. Jared Leto stars as Michael Morbius, a scientist who accidentally transforms himself into a vampire.
Opens Friday in theaters.
4. Performance
Danrie Productions is following up its terrific staging of “West Side Story” with a look back at the company’s beginnings. Its first production was “Violin Odyssey,” a film exploring music from around the world. The company will stage a live concert version of the movie starring founder Ernest Saucedo, a violinist, singer and dancer. Proceeds will go toward future productions.
5. Dance
Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, which fuses the African American experience with dance traditions from around the world, returns to the Carver Community Cultural Center. The evening will feature the Texas premiere of “The Four Journeys,” which was conceived by Amalia Viviana Basanta Hernández, artistic director of Ballet Folklórico de Mexico.
