Doris Day 100th Birthday Tribute

TCM, beginning at 11 a.m. Actress/singer/animal welfare activist Doris Day was born Doris Mary Anne Kappelhoff in Cincinnati on this day in 1922. To celebrate Doris Day’s centennial, Turner Classic Movies is airing a 12-hour marathon, beginning with four of her movies: the 1951 musical “On Moonlight Bay”; “Love Me or Leave Me” (1955), a biographic­al musical drama about Ruth Etting; the Western musical “Calamity Jane” (1953); and in “Lover Come Back” (1961), the second of three romantic comedies she made with Rock Hudson and Tony Randall. TCM then airs some of Day’s television work, beginning with a 1971 promo for the Doris Day Animal Shelter, followed by her first CBS TV special, “The Doris Mary Anne Kappelhoff Special” and her second CBS special, 1975’s “Doris Day Today,” with Tim Conway, Sammy Davis Jr. and John Denver. The marathon concludes with four episodes from her Golden Globe-nominated 1968-73 sitcom “The Doris

Day Show.”

Magnolia Network, 12 p.m. Season two of the series in which Magnolia Network cofounder Joanna Gaines spends time in the kitchen makes its linear cable premiere.

Tom Pfrogner is not your average “Lost in Space” fan. This high school band teacher has outfitted his basement with a life-size reproducti­on of the Jupiter 2 flight deck and talking B-9 robot to accompany his collection of props and costumes from the hit TV shows. Joining host Lisa Whelchel is Doug Hines, a fellow “Lost in Space” fan and builder of movie and television prop re-creations. Doug appraises this collection and offers Tom a trade for another rare piece of “Lost in Space” history.

This new series delves into heart-wrenching crimes by taking a look at the victims’ last moments.

Saints & Sinners

Bounce, 7 p.m.

A winner-take-all clash is in the works as this drama enters its sixth and final season. Set against the backdrop of a large Southern church, the series centers around the pursuit of power intertwine­d with greed, deception, corruption, sexual affairs and murder.

After learning that Percival Pickens (guest star Chris O’Shea) is behind a blistering article calling Riverdale the worst town in America, Archie (KJ Apa) comes up with a plan to prove him wrong. After the Town Council goes after their casino, Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Reggie (Charles Melton) decide they’re going to do everything on the up-and-up moving forward. Britta (guest star Kyra Leroux) makes a risky move to help Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch).

Call the Midwife

The Order of St. Raymond Nonnatus is celebratin­g its 100th anniversar­y; Violet (Annabelle Apsion) must balance her profession­al and personal views to tackle the issue of meths drinkers; Nurse Crane (Linda Bassett) treats a promising young singer who must decide between two very different futures; and Trixie (Helen George) and Matthew’s (Olly Rix) friendship blossoms into something deeper.

Prince and the Revolution: Breaking the Band

REELZ Channel, 8 p.m. Created from the imaginatio­n of pop superstar Prince, the Revolution grew to be one of the most successful bands of the 1980s. But as the Revolution reached legendary heights, Prince’s controllin­g nature took hold, and disagreeme­nts and disputes began to dog the once tight-knit group. This episode looks at the elements that ultimately broke up the Revolution.

TV One, 8 p.m.

Music act P.M. Dawn found fame in the early 1990s with hits like “Set Adrift on Memory Bliss” and “I’d Die Without You” that explored the boundaries of hiphop. In this episode, surviving P.M. Dawn founding member Eternal ( Jarett Cordes) reflects on the group’s success and honors the life of his brother and the group’s cofounder, Prince Be (Attrell Cordes).

Transplant

Rania (Nora Guerch) and Bash (Hamza Haq) reach a crossroads; Dr. Bishop ( John Hannah) contends with career limitation­s; Mags (Laurence Leboeuf ) is shaken by a violent encounter; Theo ( Jim Watson) struggles to reach a boy with sensory processing disorder; and the team treats a family separated by a brutal boating accident.

Before We Die

After learning that Christian (Patrick Gibson) has been meeting with Hannah (Lesley Sharp), Stefan (Petar Cvirn) tells Davor (Toni Gojanovic), the eldest Mimica son, that Christian is supplying informatio­n about the family’s criminal activities to the police. Christian has a cover story, but will it convince Davor — or will he be forced to take drastic action to protect himself ?
