NOTABLE
• Toronto beat the Spurs 143-100 in a Nov. 2 trip to San Antonio last season. At the time, it was the largest margin of defeat the Spurs had endured under Popovich.
• The Spurs traded Young to the Raptors in 2022 and Poeltl to the Raptors in 2023. Young fetched the first-round pick the Spurs turned into Branham, while the Spurs hold a top-6 protected pick in next year’s draft from the Poeltl deal.
• Vassell this season became the second Spur to record 2,000 points and make 300 3-pointers in his first 200 career games. Johnson was the first.
