Thanksgiving is all about sharing a meal with family and friends.
For some, that means getting up early to put a turkey in the oven, revisit favorite family recipes or roll out a pie crust. It's part of the tradition.
If that's not you, there are plenty of San Antonio restaurants that will be happy to do the cooking so you can just enjoy time with the people you care about.
Here are 12 San Antonio restaurants that will be open for lunch or dinner on Thanksgiving Day and offering traditional holiday fare.
Boiler House:

Dorrego’s: Celebrate Thanksgiving with brunch on the River Walk. The menu includes herb-roasted turkey breast, prime rib, green bean casserole, bacon jam Brussels sprouts, whipped sweet potatoes with butter pecan crumble, cornbread stuffing and pumpkin pie. 11 a.m.-3 p.m., 150 E. Eddie V’s: This seafood restaurant and jazz bar will offer a special Thanksgiving menu in
addition to its full menu. The holiday meal includes roasted turkey, green beans with sun-dried tomatoes, brioche sage stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry chutney and more.

Fleming’s: This premium steakhouse is opening early on Thanksgiving and offering a three-course menu for the holiday with a choice of entrées, including roasted turkey, filet mignon and bone-in rib-eye. Kona Grill: This globally inspired steakhouse chain is offering a traditional roasted turkey meal with green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce for $35 ($16 for kids), as well as a macadamia nut-crusted turkey breast for $38. Mi Tierra: The Market Square destination for Tex-Mex and pan dulce is also a holiday perennial, having been open every Thanksgiving Day since 1941. The restaurant is serving a
