JAMES CLAYTON LAMB
August 29, 1924 - November 4, 2018 James Clayton Lamb, age 94, Hoffman Lamb; daughters, passed away on Sunday, Kathleen Cain and husband November 4, 2018 in San Rusty Cain, and Karen Antonio, Texas. He was born Walton; grandchildren, Cody in Hubbell, Nebraska to Miklis, Christopher Walton, George F. and Loretto Lamb. and Lindsey Walton; and James was in the United numerous extended family States Navy for 3 years and members. served in World War II on the
USS Mountrail in Radio Communications. After military service, he graduated from St.
Mary’s University with a
Bachelor of Science in
Physics and Math. He worked at Kelly Air Force Base in the
USAF Cryptologic Support
Center for 33 years. James enjoyed dancing, auto mechanics, fishing, camping, and gardening. He served as
Boy Scout leader at St.
Benedict School with sons,
James Michael and John
Patrick, who with his eager support they earned the rank of Eagle Scout. James was a member of Knights of
Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons,
John Patrick Lamb and James
Michael Lamb; daughter-in
-law Renee J. Lamb. James is survived by his loving wife of
