The conference announced Thursday that final placement in the standings will be determined by the number of conference losses. UIW, McNeese and Nicholls are tied at 5-2 entering the Cardinals’ final league game, meaning UIW can clinch at least a share of first place with a win, while McNeese and Nicholls would have to win their two remaining games to tie.
